الادعاء: يعج تقرير جريستين بالسخافات والأشياء التي يستحيل حدوثها مما يستوجب صرف النظر عنه لكونه محض افتراء.

دحض الادعاء: إن منكري الهولوكوست يائسون من دحض تقرير جريستين، لذا فإنهم يتطرقون بشكل متواصل إلى أية أمور صغيرة يمكن أن يتوصلوا إليها حتى يتمكنوا من المطالبة بوجوب صرف النظر عنه لكونه غير قابل للتصديق. غير أن رواية جريستين تتسم بالتناسق كما هو ملاحظ عبر كافة الإصدارات التي من المعروف أنه قد كتبها بيده فيما يتعلق بتناولها للأشياء التي شاهدها بأم عينيه: عمليات القتل الجماعي بالغاز التي شاهدها في معسكر بلزاك.
