Content created by Professor Deborah Lipstadt in conjunction with Maureen MacLaughlin and Dan Leshem. دعوی: انکارکنندگان هولوکاست می‏گویند که کوره‏های آشویتز- بیرکناو نمی‏توانستند سال‏ها روز و شب کار کنند و خراب نشوند. آنها ادعا می‏کنند کوره‏ها به علت خرابی و تعمیرات مدت‏ها غیر قابل بهره‏برداری بودند.

پاسخ: کوره‏ها البته گاهی خراب می‏شدند و احتیاج به تعمیر داشتند. استفاده از برخی کوره‏ها با تصمیم دولت آلمان متوقف شد و بعضی دیگر در یکی از شورش‏های زندان تخریب شد. ولیکن، وقتی تعداد اجساد از آنچه می‏شد در کوره‏ها سوزاند بیشتر بود، آلمانی‏ها از چاله‏های هوای آزاد استفاده می‏کردند که می‏توانست هزاران جسد را یکباره بسوزاند.
