ادعا: دود و دوده سیاه در اگزوز دیزل، طبق گفته فریدریک برگ، یک منکر هولوکاست آمریکایی می تواند " . . باعث ناراحتی هر گروهی از قربانیان شده باشد اما بدترین مشکلی که ممکن است برای آنها پیش بیاید سردرد است."

پاسخ: دود و دوده سنگین موجود در اگزوز موتور دیزلی می تواند باعث مرگ شود. در حالیکه احتمال بسیار اندکی وجود دارد که دود و دوده تنها دلیل مرگ در کامیون های حامل گاز و اتاق های گاز باشند اما همین مواد در صورت وجود مونوکسید کربن، چند گاز سمی دیگر و کمبود اکسیژن در اگزوز دیزل می توانند به مرگ انسان کمک کنند.
