ادعا: آلمانی ها می توانستند از موتورهای "گاز مولد" جهت کشتار افراد در اتاق ها و کامیون های حامل گاز استفاده کنند، چون این موتورها نسبت به موتورهای دیزلی مونوکسید کربن بیشتری تولید می کنند.

پاسخ: در واقع، موتورهای گاز مولد یا ژانراتورها نسبت به موتورهای بنزینی و دیزلی موجود و دارای کاربرد آسان بسیار خطرناک تر ها و نهایتاً از کارایی کمتری برخوردارند. البته این به آن معنا نیست که چون آلمانی ها از موتورهای دیزلی یا بنزینی به جای موتورهای گازی یا ژ نراتور استفاده کردند، کشتار حدود 1.5 میلیون نفر یهود هرگز اتفاق نیفتاده است.
