ادعا: گزارش گرشتین پر از حرف های پوچ و ناممکن است و باید کل گزارش را بعنوان یک سند جعلی کنار گذاشت.

پاسخ: منکران هولوکاست در تلاشی سخت برای بی اعتبار کردن گزارش گرشتین هستند به همین دلیل روی هر نکته کوچکی که پیدا کنند سخت کار می کنند بنابراین ادعای آنها این است که این گزارش باید رد شود چون غیر قابل باور است. اما داستان گرشتین در تمام نسخه هایی که تشخیص داده شده به دست خط او می باشد زمانی که آنها با آنچه او با چشمان خود دیده مطابقت داده می شود کاملا مشابه و سازگار است: قتل با گاز که او در بلزک دیده است.
