İDDİA:Holokost inkarcıları Auschwitz'deki binaların gaz odası değil; hava saldırısı sığınakları olduğunu söylüyor. 1997'de Illinois'deki Northwestern Üniversitesi'nde elektrik mühendisliği bölümdeki profesör Arthur Butz Birkenau'daki 2 ve 3 Krematoryumlarının "hava saldırıları için uygun yerler olduğunu ve Auschwitz'de daha iyi bir seçeneğin bulunmadığını” iddia etti.

YANIT: Ancak gaz odaları için sipariş edilen ve kullanılan materyallerin daha yakından incelenmesi ve Birkenau'daki gaz odaları ile SS barakaları arasındaki uzaklık inkarcıların iddialarının haksızlığını ortaya koymaktadır.
